We are the Hard Landings Podcast trio!

We are Christie, Miranda, and Nick (left to right). We have been friends since high school, and Nick (aka biggest av geek known to man) got Christie and Miranda hooked; we are obsessed with aviation zest.

We are from Colorado (actual natives)!

Nick has been inundated with aviation since he was a kid; his dad has been a A&P mechanic for the airlines for decades. He has never not had a job at a local private airport since he wants to be around planes all the time! His additional hobbies include photography, videography, and Great Danes!

Miranda is our salty little ball of fire! She is the spark and spunk of the trio, and she leads a career in music education. Though she doesn’t come from an aviation background, she is obsessed! Seriously, she finishes entire seasons of disaster documentaries in two days. No joke.

Christie has a mechanical engineering background, having a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree. She is the brains behind the operation and is constantly striving to absorb more and more information about the aviation industry and its disasters.

The three of us are excited to share our passion for aviation with you and prove to you that this industry is constantly striving to be safer for all.
